Is there a fee for withdrawing from the pink virtual USD Card?

We do not charge any fees to withdraw funds from your pink virtual USD card.

Would I be charged a fee if my Pink virtual USD card gets declined due to insufficient funds?

Yes, you will be charged a non-refundable $0.50 fee for each USD card transaction that fails due to insufficient funds.

Once you get charged 3 consecutive times for this reason (declined due to insufficient funds) your card will be immediately terminated and whatever funds left on your card will be moved to your Klasha wallet using the withdrawal exchange rate of that day.

To avoid this fee, kindly ensure that your Pink virtual USD card is always sufficiently funded in advance to cover all your one-time and recurring (subscription) online payments.


Why are fees charged for declined transactions?

When a virtual card payment is declined, Klasha incurs charges from our virtual card processors on these failed payment attempts. The fee, as mentioned above, for declined transactions due to insufficient card balance is debited from the user so as to cover this charges we get from our card processors - we do not make any profit from this.


How can you avoid 'insufficient balance' fee?

  • Keep your pink virtual USD card sufficiently funded

  • Manage recurring services

    • Review the recurring subscription services linked to your pink virtual USD card. If there are services you no longer use or don't plan to continue, remove or unlink your card details from those auto-renewing platforms. This way, you won't be charged for services you no longer need.


On what platforms can I use my Pink virtual USD card?

Please note that the Pink virtual USD card suitable for sites where:

  • Payment is charged in USD

This depends on the site where the card was used. The merchant sites decide if to use 3d secure or not.


What happens when my Pink virtual USD card gets expired?

30 days before your pink virtual USD card is set to expire, you will get an notification informing you about it and letting you know that on the day of expiration, your card we will deactivated and any amount left in it will be transferred to your NGN wallet.

Although after expiration, you will still be able to see your expired card, but it won’t be active and available to use. All you just have to do is to create a new card.
